assalamu alakium thats because more in more brothers are trying to go around it knowing that if they get a divorse that the child goes with them and that they have to do all the porviding for the child

I came across this site today and am happy to have found it. I am a non-muslim American woman. There is very little Muslim voice printed here, so it is a gift to find a site, in English, that lets me learn about the real opinions and concerns of the people of Islam rather than only what the American newspapers print.
