I myself am 1/2 Lebanese, lived in Lebanon in the 70’s.
In 75, my family home in Southern Lebanon was destroyed - by the Israelis, but at that time, we were lucky enough to live in Paris so I didn’t get to suffer as much. Yet, I have lived a life with so many post-trama syndroms, as I have seen too much, and lost many family and childhood friends, my home. My dad ended up commiting suicide in the 80’s.
You cannot imagine how close this ( once again) hits home, and how I feel for all these children and the toll it will take on their lives forever more. Please consider helping by giving - even just a couple dollars to them through UNICEF: every bit will help tremendously and it doesn’t hve to be much. Please consider it as our lives is so struggle-free compared to those little ones. Thanks you. Love: Corinne-Dunia.
