Just a note: as a wedding planner, I have discovered that silk flowers may not alwasy be the least expensive option. It depends on the flower. Right now, I am working on a Gerbera themed wedding: and the real ones are $3/stem, silk are $1/stem. So, we went with silk. But sometimes, for example with roses, silk may actually cost more. If you are using a very common flower, like a red rose for example, real flowers may be less expensive then good quality silk ones.
As with any part of wedding planning, make sure you research out all the options so you know you are getting the best for your budget:)
