What nonsense this ”story” is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Due to the work and sacrifice of many Westerners to bring about the Western Enlightenment in the 16th thru 19 centuries, standards of empiricism were embraced by all Western institutions, such as the press. No credible, empirical sources were cited for the story claiming that the USA is holding 14 to 18 year olds, and that they are being tortured day in and day out. Without such citations, the story need not have even been uttered.

Also, as part of the empirical project, enlightened persons are supposed to know the definition of words, and the common defintions must be adhered to for the sake of accurate transmission of information. The word ”torture” for instance, can’t be redifined ad hoc to mean something like ”held in prison”.

Truth, what limited truth there is in this world, is not improved upon by the regression to distortion, shading, or hijaacking the definition of words, or making claims without citing sources.

The issue of homeless, abandoned and laboring children is a serious matter and those with intentions of hijaacking this cause for personal gain or satisfaction of the fantasy region of the mind are only contributing to the harm done to children.

And, on the subject of empricism, Australia is an Ally of the USA - that is a fact of record.

Additionally, the USA offers extremely significant rights in the way of freedoms and freedoms from exploitation - and has traditionally since it’s inception pioneered the general cause of individual rights. Citizens of the USA contribute and enormous amounts of money to NGO’s and charities the world over towards the cause of alleviating suffering, improving standards of living, and enhancement of individual rights. The government of the USA gives away more foreign aid that any other government on the planet.

Persons with religious beliefs may be unable to percieve the world in empirical terms. This is because religious persons are not free to tell the truth, but must always compare perception and experience with what scripture claims to be real, and defer to scripture regardless of the weight of empirical evidence to the contrary.

For planet earth to move forwards into a peaceful future, all religious persons must put empirical evidence before scripture, and codify those scriptures which fly in the face of empirical reality as inspirational poetry.

To do any less is to hate humanity.

cheers
